| Programs at A New Day |
| Those who seek treatment will find it and come to believe there is hope in "A New Day" |
 |
A New Day serves adults, ages 18 and older, who suffer from alcohol and drug addictions and wish to begin their lives anew - alcohol and drug free. Because each client is unique in their personal experience and lifestyle, our drug treatment center developed a comprehensive treatment program that is right for you. Our drug treatment programs offer a full continuum of care, structure, living arrangements, medication management, and aftercare.
The process begins with a bio-psychosocial history, a physical exam, and a psychiatric evaluation. With a high staff-to-client ratio because we are a smaller facility, our drug treatment center provides more personalized treatment. We offer individual counseling sessions, process groups, daily self-help groups, dual diagnosis groups, and family sessions in addition to a family weekend program to develop understanding and self-awareness. The 12-step principles of AA and NA underscore the recovery process.
The educational lectures at our drug treatment center provide you with the necessary tools and knowledge to develop successful coping and living skills. A New Day treats the whole person - the mental, physical & spiritual self - not just the disease of addiction, especially in cases where the client requires dual diagnosis treatment. The recreational program at our drug treatment center contributes to your individualized care, helping you to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
Medication and case management with continued monitoring are essential for success in addiction disease treatment. Our psychiatric follow-up and relapse prevention provide extra support to ensure a sustained recovery, allowing you to return with passion and commitment to your new life!
