A country setting or over a large body of water ocean, lake somewhere the city lights are not blocking out your night time view.
Then you will see countless stars in the sky. Sure they look pretty filling the skies, Sure you can make out pictures and patterns with consolations. But do you every really think about what you are seeing. In the daytime you only see one star that is our sun. Our sun is a star, not the biggest star in the sky, just the closest star in the sky located next to us.
Now when you look into the sky and see countless stars, view them as suns in the sky very distance to us. Most all of them have stuff flowing around them caught in that suns gravitational pull. We humans have named them planets. These Suns are so distance we can not see the planets with our eye’s allow. Scientist have proven they excite with powerful telescopes.
HOW far is distance? Well for example, the closest sun is named Elsisentory. Elsisentory is 4 light years away. How far is a light year? Rounded up it is about 6,000,000,000 miles. A light year is the speed light travels in a year.
So if Elsisentory is 4 light years away times 6,000,000,000 miles, we are talking about 24,000,000,000 miles away. Now even if we could fly there that’s a long way away. Well if Elsisentory is 24,000,000,000 miles away, how far is the furthest sun away. Well are planet is located inside galaxy, a Spiral Galaxy.
We may not be able to see all the Suns (Stars) in our own Spiral Galaxy. But there are literally Hundreds of Billions of Suns (Stars) in our own Galaxy. So the furthest Sun (Star) away from us in our own Spiral Galaxy is you guessed it, Super far away.
What’s even crazier than that is you go outside our own galaxy and there are more galaxies. Wow, How far are they? Well the closest galaxy like ours is called M31. M31, OK, how far away is M31? Well glad you asked. M31 is 200 million lights away. That is 200,000,000 times 6,000,000,000 miles away. Oh boy, how do you say the sum of that math answer? I leave that to you. Oh by the way that galaxy M31 also has Hundreds of Billions of Suns (stars) in it like our own Spiral Galaxy has.
So now you are saying there are Hundreds of Billions of Suns (Stars) in M31 times Hundreds of Billions of Suns (Stars) in our own Galaxy, that’s crazy. Yes that is.
What’s even crazier is that after M31 there are Hundreds of Billions of Galaxies that all contain Hundreds of Billions of Suns (Stars) in them too? Yes I know, WOW.
So am I also saying out of these countless Zillions and Zillions of Suns (Stars) that are similar to our own Sun, and have stuff flowing around them that we named planets. That we are the only life that exits on our little planet earth in the whole UNIVERSE.
I well let you be the judge of that.
But if we are, what a tragic terrible waste of Space and a lonely planet earth we would be
